ShatteredInnocence
I pressed my hand against the glass, tears gushing down my face, wishing more than anything that I could go and protect the boy. I wanted to save him from this fate, even though it was already too late. I wanted to go back in time and fix everything for this boy. There was so much blood everywhere.

Often, what a mirror sees is different from what a person would grasp from a situation. A mirror's perception of the situation may not match that person's truth. However, the mirror's truth, clear of any lingering thoughts and opinions, as opposed to a human's truth reflect all of what is believed to be real and true. This particular mirror, however, is a bit different. It is very much alive, and it's experiences aren't as objective as one would think. But nonetheless, what the mirror perceives to be the truth is perhaps more true than what the humans involved perceive to be the truth.
