"Holding Hope" by Queenie R. Everything changed around her. This was a short story I wrote for a school competition with the theme "Human Roots of Environmental Crisis" and to my surprise it won 2nd place. Hey first time here im not usually a writer but had this story in my head for a while...so here it goes a fanfic. She was a tarnished rosebud, that just needed to be nurtured, and she has the green thumb to do it. This is the beginning.

Crystal was the average teenage girl who loved to draw. She had the two best friends and had a tough life with her working mother and alcoholic father. Everything was was fine, until one day everything changed... Mother Nature, Flora, who was shot by an arrow and gave her a flower that contains the world's happiness within it. Santa Claus, Tooth fairy, Sandman, the Easter Bunny, and Jack Frost help Crystal because she is now in grave danger by a man named Pitch Black, the Boogyman, who wants to turn the world into darkness. Crystal didn't know that she would have to give up her normal life to become the next mother nature. Not only that, but she finds herself having a romantic interest with the ice-wielding guardian Jack Frost.

This story tells of our great mother when she was just a child.

An ice witch with no recollection of her past memories has found herself waking up in the frozen forest ever since she was a child. After being accepted as a new family member of the Wolf Queen's domain and thinking it was fate that brought her to take care of the frozen forest and all of inhabitants as well as bestowing upon her the gifts of ice, she accepted the live her new life whole heartedly. Though the years have passed by, fate decided to offer her another present. She soon met a young man named Raener Wraith. A man who possesses an ability contrary to her own and slowly melts his way to her heart sealed in thick iced walls while they slowly uncover what has been forgotten. This is the story of an ice witch named Aoresa Snowflake.

God sent him to vanish all of her regrets and grieves. He didn't rush herself he take it slow and put himself in her shoes so that he could realize what she thinks.
