Apocalypse/dystopian. Present day everyone on earth is doing the usual. Then at multiple places in the US animals began crashing through the windows of cars and biting people. People were blaming it on water changes or rabies but the one thing all of them had in common. They never blamed themselves. Plants began to grow rapidly and no one could stop it. Next thing those humans knew Mother Nature began to take control. Humans even began to become animal hybrids which the reason why was unknown. All of this happening leaving the last few 'pure humans' to live discarded from the rest of the world.

In front of him lay a pocket watch warped and rusted with age. It was tangled in a mass of vines and weeds but still continued to tick quietly inside the greenery. Killua felt drawn to it, he didn't understand why and knelt in front of it with his hand outstretched to grab it. "I wouldn't touch that just yet," A disembodied voice spoke making Killua whirl around to face its source. He was met with the sight of a petite woman with long wavy, burgundy-colored hair that fell down to the small or her back. She stared deep into his soul with her sunset eyes that glowed brightly. "Why not?" He found himself asking. The woman smiled gently at him and he felt a sense of calm wash over him despite the situation he was in. "You're not ready," Was her reply and Killua looked back to the watch and gasped when he saw that it was now tangled within someone's hands. Gon's hands. "G-Gon...?" His face was pale and his eyes were closed making him look almost dead, the thought made his mouth run dry. "W-what's wrong with him?" He turned back to the woman but she was gone. 221'000 thousand years ago I made a wish, a wish that would give me the power of the world. I didn't understand at that time what that meant. Out of the 221'000 it took me 68 years to realize what it meant to be invincible. It took me a other 178 to tire of it and a other 500 years to learn that having this power should not be in human hands not even in mine. But now it's to late my wish is not reversible, I am stuck with it for eternity.
