This poem explores a mother's ethereal journey between the earthly realm and the underworld, as she seeks to return to her child. Driven by love and maternal resolve, she ventures through shadowy landscapes and encounters the goddess Nyx, hoping to craft dreams that will reconnect her with her child. The dreams unfold in haunting visions, where the mother's face transforms into the cosmos, her eyes spilling starlight and her form dissolving into the galaxy. The poem poignantly reflects on loss, transformation, and the bittersweet separation between mother and child, as the mother becomes one with the stars, leaving behind only dreams and memories.
