WARNING: This story takes place between the Power of Three and Omen of Stars, so watch out for major spoilers in here! Leafpool has become a warrior, stepping down from her medicine cat position. But she feels like she just doesn't fit in with the other warriors. She misses the annual meetings with the medicine cats, but most of all, she feels like a part of her is missing. As a drought approaches the clans, Mothwing and RiverClan prepare for starvation. Mothwing worries about Leopardstar finding about her not believing in StarClan, but keeps pushing through. When all the herbs in RiverClan territory are on the brink of extinction, Mothwing comes to ThunderClan for help, and Leafpool and Mothwing learn something- They're meant for each other.

Leafpool has always felt something towards Mothwing she just couldn't tell what it was until now..after losing her lover, her mentor, and the ability to raise her own kits; Leafpool feels lonely. But, when she and Mothwing spend one-night together....everything changes.....from gathering herbs from Riverclan to secret meetings every night. a journey between two cats who fall for each other and try there best to keep it a secret... hi! thank you for reading this, I hope you enjoy! When Leafpaw notices the newly made warrior Mothing, or perhaps I should say medicine cat apprentice. Something sparks inside Leafpaw. As the the story goes on, Leafpaw is conflicted between her duties as medicine cat, her loyalty to her clan and and the Riverclan medicine cat apprentice. This story is mainly just me writing for fun and just trying to improve my writing skills in general.
