A different take on 'The Rising of the Shield Hero' story. Naofumi still gets summoned to Melromarc along with Motoyasu, Ren and Itsuki and he's still the shield hero. However, there will be a different twist in Naofumi's fate and Motoyasu, Ren and Itsuki try to help him while dealing with their inner feelings for him.

The kingdom of Melromarc was once a peaceful, calm, and full of joy with laughter following it, all because of King Alexander I. Melromarc I and his wife Mirelia Q.
