Friendship isn't your usual comedy. It starts off light, but you quickly realize there's something deeper-and a little uncomfortable-going on. Tim Robinson plays Craig, a lonely marketing guy who becomes obsessed with his new neighbor, Austin, played by Paul Rudd. The chemistry between the two is great, but it's also kind of weird, and that's exactly what makes the movie stand out. You laugh, but then you think, "Wait, should I be laughing?" That kind of humor works really well here. The suburban setting adds to the offbeat mood, and the film slowly builds up tension as Craig's fascination with Austin goes too far. If you're into movies that explore the awkward side of human connection-with a blend of comedy and discomfort-this is a must-watch. I streamed Friendship on Afdah, and the quality and experience were great.
