"Then kiss me." I managed to get out as I stared into his beautiful baby blue eyes that always took my breath away. "I can't. I don't have the power, the strength" he replied, eyes desperate and longing. "Then find the will." I whispered as I got on my tip toes and pressed my lips onto his. And even though I knew that I was in danger, that I could be killed in a matter of seconds, it didn't matter. Nothing mattered. Because at this very second I had him; and that's all I've ever wanted.

Sometimes, human language is too poor a vehicle to carry certain realities. This piece came to me as a vision - not of Jesus as only the Lamb, but as the Warrior. The Conqueror who descended into Hades unaided and shook every dominion to its knees. It is written with fire, faith, and fearlessness. Read it not as poetry, but as revelation.
