I love watching movies and I don't write reviews nor rate movies (as well as books) cos I'm not a critic. I watch movies for entertainment. I might notice some bad acting and qualities but I don't judge and dwell on the negative aspects of the movies that I watched. I love learning life lessons from the movies. I started to jot them down this year (I don't write them most of the time, though 😅). I'll keep in mind to write them when there's one. However, I thought of writing something about movies lately. It's a sort of remembrance. I'd like something to look back to about a particular movie in the future. I won't write reviews of all the movies I will watch. I'm not a movie critic and will never be. I might write a negative comment or two but it will be something that gets me confused. Anyways, too much for blabbing. I hope you'll find time to read the reviews. You can find the lists of the movies that I watched each year on Letterboxd. Here is the link to my profile https://letterboxd.com/yuchaemoon/

Some films linger long after they've finished. Bring Her Back (2025) is one of them. It's not only frightening-it's haunting, but differently so. It illustrates what occurs when love gets someone too far. Sarah, the protagonist, is mourning her daughter. She's lonely, shattered, and yearning to return to her little girl. So when she learns about a ritual to bring her back, she takes the opportunity. But as they say, some things are best left untouched. Everything is okay at first. Her daughter is home. But slowly, things start to go odd. Her child is not the same anymore. She's quiet, cold, and there's something about her which feels... odd. Sarah struggles to cling on, but soon she must confront reality: this could be someone else's daughter, not hers. The film combines fear with emotion perfectly. It's not loaded with cheap frights. Rather, it develops gradually, drawing you deeper into Sarah's anguish and the enigma surrounding her daughter's return. The story, acting, and atmosphere all combine to keep you on the edge of your seat. Bring Her Back is not simply a horror film. It's a sober reminder that some losses, no matter how unbearable, have to be accepted.

Story Type: True Experience / Documentary-Inspired I never thought a vacation could turn into one of the worst experiences of my life. It was supposed to be relaxing-a cruise with blue water, good food, sunshine, and peace. But what I lived through was something else entirely. On day three, everything changed. A fire broke out in the engine room. At first, no one panicked. We were told everything was "under control." But then the lights went out. The air conditioning stopped. Toilets overflowed. And the smell... it was unbearable. People were sleeping in hallways. The food started to spoil. There were long lines for cold sandwiches. Some tried to stay calm, others broke down. We had no idea when we'd get off the ship. It felt like being trapped in a nightmare in the middle of the ocean-with no one coming to help. The new documentary Trainwreck: Poop Cruise (2025) captures it all. The interviews. The footage. The panic. The hope. Watching it brought everything back-and I realized just how wild and real it all was. You can watch the full story now on Afdah. But fair warning... it's not for the faint of heart.

The production value of the pre-show was top-notch, with excellent camera work, lighting, and audio quality. The venue was well-suited to the event, enhancing the overall atmosphere. The commentary team did an exceptional job of providing context, highlighting the significance of each match, and conveying the excitement to viewers at home.
