From a young age Mauverick Astonburg was abused by her mother because she was different. She dressed different by wearing boys clothes, she couldn't sit still and was about as coordinated as an uncoordinated cat. At her thirteenth birthday something happened. Slowly but surely her foot started to disappear and it spread until she disappeared except for her clothing. Before things got out of hand, a uniquely dressed lady saved her and brought her home.
