Marcus is send on a mission to capture Adam, Bree and Chase. Better said, that's what Douglas wants everyone to think. The truth is that he knows Marcus' birthday is coming and he doesn't want to be anywhere near Marcus when that day comes. Because he knows what will happen on Marcus' Sixteenth Birthday. This story is written mostly from Marcus' point of view. That's because I think Marcus is more human than the series made him look in the end. They let him "presumably" die as if it's nothing, no one even seems to care about him. So here's to make it right. A lot of care for Marcus. "A villian is just a victim who's story hasn't been told." Also, S.H.I.E.L.D. is randomly included in this story, but do not worry, if you don't know S.H.I.E.L.D (shame on you! (Nah just kidding, but seriously, you should get to know S.H.I.E.L.D)) that's not a problem, 'cause their role isn't big and I haven't included things you would only understand if you know Marvel.

The hope (for family) Summary Chase is offered a mission to help update military software and weaponry. Something goes wrong and he returns later than promised. He comes back with deadly wounds leaving him unable to train as well as needing to keep them a secret. The reality of what happened to him in those few months are stuck haunting him each night. Meanwhile trying to fight the vivid memory of what happened, a friend from the military base comes to chase's home after finding a picture that belonged to chase. The picture displaying a familiar face from his past.
