After some car troubles, Marianne Smith finds herself in Storybrooke Maine. And though she had no intention of staying for long, she seems unable to leave this town. Something is making her stay, or maybe it's someone. Orphaned since birth, being alone is her ideal state of being, at least she's convinced herself it is, this little town will make her carefully tear down the walls that she has build over the years. She heads to Storybrook with her group home to join the Fine Arts Festival that the town is hosting. From there she gets wrapped into a world that fairytale characters are real.
