I had spent years believing that one day my childhood crush would finally see me the way I had always seen him. I had dreamed of happy endings and whispered promises, only to watch those dreams shatter when I saw him kneel before my rich, beautiful, and impossibly popular rival and ask her to marry him. As everyone celebrated, I stood frozen, feeling my heart break. Humiliated and devastated, I ran without direction, desperate to leave behind the pain and the life that suddenly felt unbearable. I wandered farther than I realized and soon became hopelessly lost. As darkness settled around me, a strange and mysterious sensation washed over my body. A warmth unlike anything I had ever known clouded my thoughts and drew me into a trance. No matter how hard I tried to resist, my feet moved against my will, carrying me along forgotten roads and through towering iron gates toward a secluded mansion hidden from the world. Inside, I encountered a curious group of people unlike anyone I had ever met. They welcomed me as though they had been expecting my arrival for years. Though their customs were strange and their words filled with mystery, they spoke with unwavering certainty when they told me that I possessed a great and noble purpose in their sacred mission. They claimed my appearance had been foretold and that the heartbreak that had driven me there was not a tragedy, but the first step toward the destiny I had been born to fulfill. They offered me something I had never expected-a new life. They promised friendship, belonging, and adventures beyond anything I had imagined possible. Hidden worlds, ancient secrets, and wonders I had only dreamed about awaited me if I chose to embrace the path before me. I had run away believing I had lost everything. Instead, I had found the doorway to a future far greater than the dreams I had left behind. What I thought had been the end of my story had only been the beginning.
