THE MUSIC MADE US FALL IN LOVE
She never saw the world break-
she heard it.
Blinded by war at four years old, stolen from her parents in the middle of fire and water, the last thing left in her hands was a music box and a voice telling her to hide. Her parents never came back. The world moved on. She didn't.
Blind, forgotten, untouched by kindness-music became her only language, her only refuge. While people passed her like she didn't exist, melodies listened. They stayed.
Years later, in an empty classroom, she plays a tune meant only for herself-
and someone answers it.
A stranger's music. Perfectly aligned. Gone before she can reach it.
Fate waits.
She grows up serving drinks in a London bar, living small, surviving quietly-until chaos finds her again. A bottle flies. A hand stops it. And suddenly, she's standing in the shadow of a man built from danger.
He is power. Money. Crime. A casino master with blood on his past and police on his trail. He saves her life-but wants her nowhere near his.
Yet she becomes his only escape.
Forced to run together, bound by circumstance, surrounded by silence they never fill. He irritates her. She resists him. She stops playing music. He starts losing control. Something pulls them close-but neither dares to name it.
They separate. Different countries. Unfinished tension.
Until a radio plays a melody that was never supposed to exist again.
The same tune. The same soul. The same unanswered question.
Will music bring them back- or was it only meant to remind them of what they can never have?
Because some loves are not meant to be seen. Some destinies are not meant to be chosen. And some songs don't end- they haunt.
