13 year old Evangeline Perell goes to the library like any other day. But when a mysterious book from a hidden room gets taken home... Evangeline finds herself in a strange world. There she meets two odd - yet familiar - girls. Evangeline will discover new things about many people, but, most importantly, herself.

"Elaine?" My mother's loud voice called to me, jarring me awake. I opened my eyes to the huge text of the book. I-as usual-fell asleep reading last night. I ran downstairs, still in my pajamas. -- A version of Mr. Lindens Library, one of Harris Burdicks mysterious photo/story. This submission was originally used for a school writing challenge. I decided to publish it on here as well.
