1 week ago King Candy disappeared with only a cryptic letter left neatly behind at the foot of his bed. Left by a person calling himself the "Exile heir" this worries and intrigues Mister Mint into joining a search party for him, which leads him to the Licorice Forest.

Just one unexpected meeting was all it took for Bekkah, a human girl with wolf shapeshifting abilities, to leave Mr. Mint of Peppermint Forest lovesick, and unsure of how to move from just crushing on her. Being shy and inexperienced with romance sure isn't Mint's friend in this situation, but everyone has to start somewhere.
