Pedantical cats, romantical cats, political cats, mystical cats. She had just one question . Was this hope just a mystical dream? *** This is basically the CATS 2019 musical ( So yes there are SPOILERS) with more talking between the cats and you as Victoria! So it's a recommended female POV. Its about a week before the Jellicle ball, and so far everything is going fine- untill, suddenly, something goes wrong, making Mr. Mistoffelees vanish into thin air and replacing him with.... himself? . Universe swap! Macavity magically switches stage!Misto with movie!Misto, causing alot of chaos!

How did Mr. Mistoffelees become a magical cat? Why does he seemingly have two names? Why does he love Bustopher Jones so much? Who are his parents? What is his relationship with the Rum Tum Tugger? And how does Victoria fit into all of this? All these questions and more will be addressed in this prequel novella to the musical Cats! Note: I'm mostly going off of the 1998 film, but will also include elements from the Broadway revival and Jacob Brent's commentary. If something doesn't make sense (for example, how anthropomorphic the cats are in any given scene) then just default to the 1998 version.

~CATS human au~ The main six (Munkustrap, Tugger, Mistoffelees, Demeter, Bombualurina and Victoria) have been put on an exchange student year together in the South Island of beautiful, rural New Zealand. It is far from what the six Brits are used too ("pie without mash?!?!"). They could end up tearing eachother to bits, as the group are far from friends, but they could also learn to get along. Will they become as tight as stitiches or will they fall apart? Munk & Tugger are brothers and Vic's a try-hard. Tugoffelees WILL HAPPEN. I have a problem. When I'm writing normal chapters I write them really short, but the Tugoffelees chapters are always much longer so... I dunno I just ship it too hard.
