Ms. Hudson comes home from a checkup with bad news of some new found cancer. That's when it hits Sherlock and John that they will have to get jobs that they're actually paid for because Ms Hudson will no longer be there to support them. When Sherlock goes to Lestrade to ask for a salary for his consulting, and John goes to the local doctor office for the new doctor's position, will they be able to work through their grief of losing Ms. Hudson without going completely mad on each other?

Ebony Holmes was always considered the normal one. She couldn't deduce people like her elder brothers could, and she was definitely not sociopathic. She was normal. Ungifted. What her family doesn't know is that she'd always been able to deduce. After seeing how Mycroft and Sherlock were treated at school, she vowed never to use her gift. After outwitting Jamen Cassius, a corrupt scientist who is responsible for Sherlock's deaging, John and Sherlock aren't quite sure what to do. After searching endlessly for a cure for Sherlock, they quickly realize the only way to get him back to his normal self is to take a dangerous-and rather stupid-risk. But when mysterious notes keep showing up at 221B and people keep attempting to kidnap Sherlock, John decides it's worth the risk. Even if he thinks young Sherlock is pretty adorable... (Sequel to An Awkward Situation...still will make sense if you haven't read it, but some character's I made up are introduced, so it's optional. ^.^) (P.S. NOT MY ART. I sadly don't own these characters...)
