The story follows Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teenager from Jersey City who feels like an outsider until she is exposed to the Terrigen Mist and gains superhuman abilities. She becomes the superhero Ms. Marvel and uses her powers to fight crime while balancing her secret identity with her everyday life. Kamala is eventually taken under the wing of Carol Danvers and trains with her, meeting other heroes along the way. However, as Kamala becomes more entrenched in the superhero community, she realizes its flaws and starts forming her own opinions about what it means to be a hero. Kamala becomes more confident in her abilities and opens up to others about her secret identity, proud to be a hero and a role model for young girls like herself.

Things happen, Accidents happen too. This accident happened to be the worse any of the Champions have encountered. Over half of the teen superheroes have been taken in by CRADLE, a government organization dedicated to stopping them from superhero-ing for their "Mental Health". Ms. Marvel aka Kamala Khan is in the hospital due to overloading her powers. Kamala is the face of the law named Kamala's Law. The teen heroes taken by CRADLE haven't been heard from. So it's up to Spider-Man, Nova and Ms. Marvel (???) to not get caught and find where there friends are being held and why. Hi, umm.
