He was alone, cold and hurt that his own brother abandoned him, but he refused to give up for Luigi's sake. "There is still hope, I'm sure we'll get out of this cursed place. Just you wait Luigi, I won't disappoint you."

Mario had seen Riba change. Change for the better. First the young man was very much cold and distant but then he began gradually getting use to Mario and the two were beginnign to grow on each other.
