When Garroth arrives, he meets Laurance who doesn't have his mask on, and meets him later, while drunk, when he does have the mask on. This causes some confusion as to who Laurance is, and Garroth's drunken mind decides that they are two different people, and names Laurance-with-mask, L. When he wakes up the next day, he remembers pretty much nothing of L except his name and their attraction. He teams up with Laurance, who also remembers a mysterious person, but barely remembers his name as... Gale. Yes, Gale. Amazing what a little alcohol can do. They do everything they can, enlisting their friends, until eventually, they dig a little too deep.

I wanted to try this out and write a story, I've just finished the acotar series and I'm still in that world and story, so there's a high chance a lot of that will be coming back in the story, some characters are based off of characters in there... there's gonna be a lot of lgbtqai+ cause, gae yk :).
