"Do you two know each other?" We know each other, of course we know each other...after all, who could forget their childhood friend who was not only their first best friend, but their first love as well? Not me, that's for sure! And now, ten years later, here we are: face-to-face once more, seeing how well the years had treated each other; I was still the little kid who loved being unique, finally living my dream through dyed hair and my guitar, and he was still the same old Luke: the boy who was sweet to the freak, had the most gorgeous blue eyes I have ever seen in my lifetime, and was just...just so Luke. It's too bad that I ruined the whole thing, the pure relationship I held with the boy who stole my heart right from under my nose, by leaving without every saying everything I felt. So when I see him glare daggers at me, soft kissable lips pursed into a grim line, I can't find it in me too blame him; he wasn't the one who walked away, he wasn't the one who left without a word, he wasn't the one who broke everything. It was me, always me.

Luke may or may not have just lost his mind.

Sometimes having Luke as a roommate was the worst thing in the world. Michael hated it, he hated living with him. Except he didn't, not really.

It literally started on a weekend in May...the start of the zombie apocalypse.

"You've made the biggest mistake and you don't even realise it." Michael choked out the words, staring out into the dark night sky. The stars and moon were blurred from the tears that dared to fall from his eyes. "And what would that be?" Luke scoffed from the other end of the phone. He sounded angry, but still somehow used the soft tone of voice that he always had while talking to Michael. "You fell in love with me." He let out the words quickly, not wanting to change his mind. As soon as the words slipped from his mouth, he pulled the phone away from his ear, ending the call and throwing it across the room. He instantly fell to the floor, hot tears uncontrollably streaming down his face. "I just can't love you back."
