"You don't meet a girl like that in every dynasty." This story follows the young, soon-to-be emperor of China, Xiong Shoushan, and his chance encounter with a woman named Guo Yu. He is a proper, well-trained man, and she is different than anyone he's met before. She's spunky, always speaks her mind, and though she's a little superstitious, she is very strong and sure of herself. Shoushan finds himself wanting to see her again, so he starts sneaking out of the palace to meet with her. They became good friends, and perhaps even more. Soon Shoushan must choose between his heart, and the duty of his empire.

Yien Beifong had known to be a noble friend and very high skilled fighter. Her family was very little after her mother left to help the Fa family while the war is going on while Yien stayed in the village. It was long until she met Shun Yu the leader of the Huns and somehow caught his attention after he witnessed her skills in fighting like he never seen before.

Everest is an 8-year old Siberian Husky who lives with the Fa Family in a small village. Out of all the family members, Mulan is the closest to her, due to their mutual respect for one another. The two are known to be outcasts because both of them are tomboys, hence their inability to follow the traditional female stereotypes. One day, when Fa Zhou (Mulan's father) decided to re-join the army to fight against the Huns, the two females decided to take his place by disguising themselves as males, in order to prevent him from getting killed in the battle. Joining the two are Mushu (a diminutive dragon who lost his position as a guardian) and Cri-Kee (a supposedly "lucky" cricket). Will Mulan and Everest stopped the Shan Yu and the Huns from destroying all of China and bring honor to the Fa Family? Notes: Mulan belongs to Disney Everest belongs to PAW Patrol

I crouched down next to the medic, my chest filling with worry. "Um Fa Ping is... um..." the medic looked at me nervously. "Is he dead?" I whispered, hardly daring to breathe. The medic shook his head slowly. "Then what? What could possibly be so bad that you cannot tell me?" I asked, taking the medic's shoulders in my hands and shaking him. "Tell. Me." The medic gulped and looked up breathing shakily. "Fa Ping is... he's... um..." the medic closed his eyes and took a breath. When he opened them again, his face was set. "Fa Ping is a woman."
