He was a writer, he was pure madness, chaos and grief and she was perfection, order, and sanity. It was obvious that the story wasn't going to go as planned was it? At least, not the same way Dana Scully had planned it.

Dana hadn't wanted to move house and yet, somehow, she found herself in Quonochontaug, friendless and having to start afresh again. To make matters worse, she finds herself having to provide support for a boy two years her senior, whose parents have been neglecting him for what seems like years due to an incident that he refuses to talk about to anyone. A somewhat reluctant friendship is forged between logical Dana Scully and scatterbrained Fox Mulder as Dana strives to find out what went wrong in this overlooked boy's life. Mulder is trapped in an underground boxcar as Cancer Man attempts to burn him alive after Mulder discovers the bodies of human test subjects. Winner of XFiles Universe 2012 Ultimate Character Representation.

To be set two years before the I Want To Believe film, we see that Scully and Mulder are happy together living on a back road in Virginia. The two are leading different lives then last shown in the finale of The X Files and are making things work as a couple.

An X Files Fan-fiction. Yeah, I know, just leave me alone. About a "crazy" person, and Mulder gets involved. Can he stay sane?

Mulder is drugged with hallucinogens and believes he is burning, and Scully must save him from himself.

This is a script I wrote after watching the last episode of the X Files series. I needed to answer all the questions I had-tie up the loose ends at least for me. This is a catharsis for me because I was beginning to show signs of CWS and needed to get the X Files out of my head. Hopefully this is my last Fanatic Fiction.
