He takes an interest in her and when she needs surgery for a broken wrist and cannot manage on her own, he takes her home for a couple weeks. When his parents are in an accident and he has to go to them, the Cartel transfers her to another state and forbids any contact with Braxton. She misses him more than she'd thought she would. Will she get out and if she does, what happens afterward? Will she ever see Braxton again? As much as she loved life in the tower, and the beautiful noble woman who would come and visit once every year. Time came for her to strike out on her own. 6 years later she returns to the monastery to find Father Triston recovering from a grave illness and a letter announcing the death of the noble woman who watched her grow up, the Lady Isabella. No longer welcome in the monestary and, Father Triston is to weak to go to the funeral, Lena goes to pay his and her respects to the family of the woman who had been a friend to she and her adoptive father for twenty years. When Lena arrives at Lady Isabella's castle, a long held secret is uncovered forcing Lena to flee the castle. Now on the run and with a pair of determined brothers chasing after her, will Lena be able to out run her pursuers? Or will she learn to accept the circumstances of her birth?
