Alex and John are in college and are best friends until Alex starts noticing cute little doodles on his arm (mostly of turtles) and it's now his favorite part of the day. Meanwhile, John starts noticing more cuts and scars on his arm when he isn't hurt so he starts drawing on his arm to hide them and soon after the cuts stop and he starts communicating with his soulmate. this is my first story so please don't judge.

Laurens is alone after his parents died. He's fighting the desire to die himself. He's given up. Alex has been alone since a young age. He wants to get out. He needs out. The two of them are transferred to an orphanage in New York City. Little do they know that they can help each other. - This might not be entirely factual, give me a break. Marie Lafayette is a 12 year old girl starting 7th grade in a new school and struggles with social anxiety, and depression. A taller (yes i know laurens is taller than him but it's better for this story) man walks into his shop. "i want a job." is all he said.
