The future he had so carefully envisioned vanished, replaced by a nightmare he couldn't wake up from. Raine was gone. And she was never coming back. "I Brought You Flowers" is a story of love in the face of unimaginable loss, a heart-wrenching exploration of grief, guilt, and the enduring power of memory. Ollie's world is irrevocably broken, the vibrant colors of his life muted to shades of gray. The restaurant, once a symbol of hope and new beginnings, becomes a monument to his shattered dreams. The lilies, meant to be a symbol of his love for his Raine, now feel like a cruel mockery of his happiness. The flowers he bought for her, now a symbol of his grief, become a focal point of his despair. He clutches them, their delicate petals a stark contrast to the harsh reality of his loss. They are a tangible connection to Raine, a reminder of her beauty, her grace, and her vibrant spirit. But they are also a constant reminder of what he has lost, a symbol of the future that will never be. This is not just a story about death; it's a story about the enduring power of love, even in the face of unimaginable tragedy. It's about the journey of navigating grief, the agonizing process of piecing together a life shattered into a million fragments. Ollie's journey is one of profound sorrow, but also one of unexpected self-discovery. He is forced to confront not only the pain of losing Raine, but also the guilt that gnaws at his soul, the what-ifs that haunt his waking hours, and the unspoken words that now echo in the silence between them. The words he longed to say to his Raine. Start Date: 01/06/25 End Date: Ongoing

You've probably heard this story a million times before. There's no escaping that. How many stories have you not heard before? There isn't a damn route, that hasn't been trekked, within the vicinity of the mind. And yet, you continue, to pick up another book. To read through another page. What are you searching for? The art of sonder; the realisation that everyones idea of reality is as vivid and complex as one's own. The breaking down of society, nay, life itself, to the fundamental ideas it is meant to present. When staring into the void, the idea that the world you have created for yourself is the only capable path that can be taken, is enough to convince even the most adept of minds. It can be impossible to recognise that your choices, your actions, are just another route, on the highway that is life itself. And so are everyone else. To be aware of others, you must first be aware of yourself. But to be aware of yourself, you must first be aware of other people. So you keep reading. You keep searching for another path, another destiny, another storyline, only half aware that whatever these words may have in store for you, there can only be so many routes you haven't seen before. For to live life as a person that is not yourself is the only way to be. This is a story about selflessness. And the debts it has built for itself. This is the Protagonist Syndrome.
