This is written by my friend Smartparty169, you know like my other book on here because I'm not an author. There are some touchy topics but we'll warn you before you read the chapter if you don't like it please skip it. We wouldn't want to trigger anyone.

Things have never been very stable between the races, the vampires and werewolves hate each other, the witches look down on everyone, and don't even start about the half demons. But despite everything, they have kept their world secret for millenia. But now someone has decided that the human world should know about their powerful neighbours. Elizabeth is being dragged into this supernatural world she never knew existed, and although she doesn't like what it shows her, there's no going back anymore. She meets Matthew, who has a wall up between the rest of the world and him and carries a secret close to his heart. Elizabeth doesn't know what to do with him, he's a nice person but there are so many questions unanswered about him that even she questions the wisdom of being around him. In this new world of unnatural creatures Elizabeth finds herself in, trusting the wrong person could mean death, or worse. Then there's James, shy, scared, and just trying to put one foot in front of the other to cope with things from his fresh past as well is his craving for blood. All these people are at the centre of a whirlwind of shift and change amongst the supernatural world. Pressure is mounting and if they can't handle it well, it's only a matter of time before the bubble breaks. And in the middle of all of this, love might be able to shine some light on things. When the Commonwealth began, it was about making a profit and insulating the population of Oneres from other Planets. They had built the strongest military in the known universe, and had combined the assets, resources and populace of 57 other planets. A few planets had attempted to fight back, and were eventually destroyed. The Eurage were the most formidable, having battled the Commonwealth for decades. They were the only species to be eradicated from other planets. Any species that stood against them was immediately listed as Article 767. Individuals could assimilate into the Commonwealth, but they could never mate. The species would then eventually disappear. Daxian Valturi was only a few weeks old when a Dakkar warrior for the Commonwealth hide him in his gear and sold him to Ben Dhar couple believing he was a toy. They raised him as Ben Dhar, and at age 10 he was sent to the military at Dakkar as all children were. Dax had dreamed of being a pilot, begrudgingly becoming the single most decorated pilot in the Commonwealth. Eventually becoming the Commander of the Battle Cruiser, Inyxidian. Political struggles within the Commonwealth would rain havoc on the military. The Board of Directors would be at odds, with many unexpectedly passing away. Dax, and the crew would have to decide which side they were on.

The world had changed drastically after the War of Kind that had occured centuries before, a war which changed how human societies dealt and lived with the non-human. These non-humans were the myths which countless poets, novelists, historians, and many more had written. The ogres of war, selkies of the Scottish, fairies and fae, vampires and werewolves, unicorns, centaurs... all those myths had become real, and had always been real. Only revealed to those who were patient and kind, given the chance to write stories of them and create wondrous tales to read and recite to children and many generations every night. The war had been brutal, both for humans and non, yet at the end it came to a conclusion with a worldwide treaty of understanding that humans were equal to monster and monster to human, except monsters had to be careful of their own culture and self aware of their differences in senses and physiques
