Your typical corporate slave can be found in her little glass cubicle working overtime and waiting for that sweet release of the clock to tell her it is time to go home and be depressed in peace. Well, too bad for her. The universe, or some omniscient being, has other plans for making her life better than being the human equivalent of a coffee maker. As the night unfolds, her awareness of a new, unfamiliar world (and person) sets off a series of thrilling events.
{Small Excerpt}
"The sounds of a typical office fill the air: dozens of fingers tapping on keyboards, the hum of a printer recalibrating itself, the rhythmic hit of dress shoes against the floor as people speed by. A chaotic orchestral piece that goes unnoticed by everyone inside it, including one of our main characters.
Inside her glass cubicle, pushed into the corner like the part of a meal nobody wants and shoves to the edge of the plate, sits a girl clicking away at her computer with a seriously focused expression. If facial expressions told you how hard someone works, you'd assume she's about to be promoted. Instead, she sits in the subdivision that never sees the praise of high-ranking officials."
