Are you fan of This Is Us? Of stories that follow the lives of multiple characters and connect them in new and exciting ways? Then this story is for you! Step into the voyeuristic world of New York City's most exclusive apartment, where secrets are aired like dirty laundry. The Watley building in New York prides itself on charm, appeal, and exclusivity. But its Fifth Avenue address comes with a slew of tenants carrying their own peculiar baggage. Madeline Mills, young, ambitious, and nearly penniless, leaves every morning through the service entrance to avoid the building manager. Elena Margova, blonde, overextended, and whip smart, prays to the gods that her children will one day accept potty training. Brian Cooper, nervous, lanky, and analytical, avoids answering his phone and owning up to missed deadlines. David Finlay, balding, tired, and vigorless, lumbers through the park, wondering where his life has gone. Agatha Newman, wrinkled, cynical, and shrewd, sits atop her penthouse balcony and sneers down at the passersby. Phineas Watley, blotchy, high-strung, and enthusiastic, dreams of shaping his ancestor's estate into something wonderful. They watch each other's lives unfold from behind the curtains of their windows, each their own special star in the Watley building's galaxy. But sometimes those stars collide, and either something new is born, or the entire universe crumbles into dust. These are their stories.

And then she was gone. Why was she gone? Sometimes to uncover the truth you need to see reality through their eyes. Other times, even the eyes of the witnesses, of the victim and of the murderer are misleading. But trust me, sooner or later, the truth always comes out. So, open your mind and let yourself be guided towards it. Here is the epigraph for this multi-perspective murder-mystery. Read it, and trespass with me into private territory, travel from mind to mind, see life through everyone's different point of view. By the end, as the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle start to come together, you will be left with questions on subjectivity and the limits of our perception.
