After a mysterious dream, strange things begin to enter Alexander Wærloga's life. People with seemingly supernatural abilities, genetically modified wolfs, aliens, and many other such oddities appear uninvited. Alex is drawn to this new level of reality, yet he is afraid of confiding in his friends for fear of rejection. As the story progresses, he discovers a power within himself, and starts to accept the new world he has discovered. [I am pausing this story for an indefinite period of time. After a bizarre incident in 2059 killing half of the world's population, the United States government has changed. Evelyn Swirl is about to become a Contributory, which is basically another title for the human sacrifice provided to the mysterious beast in the contained "Area 2029" that caused the global disaster five years ago. Little does Evelyn know that her neighbor Andrew is not about to let her die. The creepy Beast becomes obsessed with Evelyn, who starts to feel bad for him, all while Andrew is trying to find his way to her. Meanwhile, Evelyn's friend Mara, and a Government Official named Leo navigate try to the world outside Area 2059: two worlds that might not be as disconnected as they seem.
