The sight of her down on the floor was unbearable, in an instant he had successfully linked their souls, but still she had to die. Because she had been dying anyway, and he was powerless to stop that. When the paramedics had arrived there hadn't been anything for them to do. Had to die there in his arms at 19 years old, a beauty in every sense of the word which was reflected in her very soul. Knowing that if he ever saw her alive again, he would die before taking her love for granted this time. I never meant to be a disappointment to my dad or to destroy my parent's marriage, but now my mom and I are moving to a small town called Louisville over halfway through my senior year. On my first day of school, some guy steals my first kiss in the cafeteria, and I meet a girl who probably has enough problems without adding me to the list. Overall the day was a disaster, and I can't help thinking that life would be better for everyone if I never existed in the first place. This story is told from multiple points of view, and explores how the existence of one person affects the lives around them.
