The sky and the earth were shrouded in darkness, streaked with scattered colors.
But this darkness was more than mystery, more than fear-it was danger itself, the shadow of death.
Whistles cut through the air, echoing across the heavens, making the earth tremble like a heart gripped by dread.
Black suits, camouflage uniforms, school attire-once symbols of order and unity-had become emblems of tyranny, savagery, and division.
And those scattered colors were no rainbow, no child's dream. The children had grown, smoking, falling in love. I thought the colors might drive away the world's darkness. Instead, they spread only anarchy, only ruin.
No laughter, no tears. Only the shrill cry of desire, hands clawing for fragile slips of paper, hands clasped together not in faith, but in despair.
Return-return to your village, your old home, the place you once played as a child. Open the storeroom, climb the attic, descend into the cellar. Seek, uncover, and relearn what you once possessed.
Extinguish those false lights. Step outside. Look up at the vast sky-and try to remember what it is we have truly forgotten.
