Ariate Landry has known pain her whole life, between her dead mother and her Cajun outlaw of a father who fortunately adored her enough to retire from the life of crime. Despite her upbringing she'd made a name of herself, in the year 1815 during the colonization of the United States and the wild frontier. Her and Jenson are an unlikely pair but once they finally admit that they can't do it alone, they inevitably turn to each other because who better to love than your best friend...and doctor. During the 1800's, most modern medicine wasn't invented, so if my terms or my knowledge isn't correct feel free to correct me. I've taken influence from outlander and 1883 and mixed them together with a splash of arcadian Cajun. AGAIN, I am not from the 1800's OR Cajun. Any knowledge helps improve the book and I'd loved to get this published one day.
