I'm Marcus and I'm 15 years old. I guess you could say I have a normal life of a high school, teenage boy. Breakups, homework, music and oh yeah this jail my parents keep me in. They're so overprotective sometimes. My parents new company is just starting to get big and they said something about not being here on the weekends. Finally some escape from this prison they keep me in. Should be fun, just me and my brothers, one older and one younger.

Then it kinda just turned into one big mess, we're in the middle of no where, Annie is only allowed in the storage cupboard and well... Mumford and Sons are part of it. So... what's gonna happen? But through support of best friend Ben Lovett and a mysterious penpal by the name of Carey Mulligan, he can learn that love can overcome anything. Maddie May and Ben Lovett have been best friends since they were little. They have always enjoyed running off into the woods to play music in order to escape the reality of life in the G# District. (Also known as the Ab District) But when Maddie's sister, Taylor, gets chosen to take part in the 74th musical games, she'll have a hard decision to make. Marcus Mumford, the guitar-makers son has always had a major thing for Maddie, but Maddie has hardly ever noticed him. Will Marcus' true love, Maddie, ever notice him.
