Paw steps came rumbling through the clearing. Bramblepaws gasped as a hoard of cats made their place in the tree lining. Whispers filled the empty area, Stoneclan cat's eye were fixated on one single cat that had joined Heronclan's group. Rootshine. Bramblepaws stared in shock, her own daughter, joined by a tall blue-ish gray tom. What was happening? Why did Rootshine leave? What is she doing? her thoughts overloaded her. Sunsplash quickly ran to her mothers side along with Amberclaws. "Rootshine!" Sunsplash mewed, scurrying over to her sister with joy. Rootwish only stood in shock, why was she here? Sunsplash grabbed Rootshine's paw, running to get Tawnypaws and join their family, however Rootshine had other plans. Amberclaw started. "is that really-" "Amberclaw, she left us! How could you want to even face her!" she snapped at her mate and deputy. The tom scowled, retreating to Clamstar's side. Bramblepaws was heart broken, her daughter left her for Heronclan.

My goal with this series is to explore a world very similar to the one in Warriors but with fewer restrictions and a (hopefully) better execution of the world.
