Or a better question, how does a man with a brain filled with brass and a weird Robot who sputters about some "JcJenson" play a role in this land of blood stained sand? It's a question that just kicks ya in the head.

Just to feed my fixation for this amazing web series whenever it arises. 😌 Some of these will be 'character x reader' oneshots and others will be just the canon characters existing together. Platonic is just as lovely as romantic in this establishment, afterall! Updates may be far and few between, or multiple in a short period of time. It all hinges on where my head is at at the time. Because of the nature of the original series, this book will very likely contain some violence and gore, as well as an overall darker tone. However, I'm not really a big violence and gore fan (like not at all, haha) so it will definitely be quite sparing. I have recently gotten into Murder Drones, and while I absolutely adore the series I cannot help but to be irked by some of its pacing issues. Things often happen so fast that it feels like there's never a chance two allow the numerous plot-points to sink in or let the characters properly contemplate what has happened to them. I understand why this is the case. A high-quality animation project is a huge risk for a small independent production team like Glitch. The process is not cheap, and being funded entirely through merchandise means that Liam and the others likely feel very pressured to put as much into each second of animation as possible. Murder Drones extended AU is my attempt to provide fans of the show with a supplement that helps provide a more reasonably paced experience. I hesitate to call this a 'true' AU, because I'm really trying not to change too many of the plot beats. Just adding some more time for build up between them. There will also be times in the story where I skip ahead because the version of events plays out exactly how it does in the show. I recommend re-watching the episode before reading this fic.
