Romance dances around the detectives, but murder dances too. The detective Society and Junior Pinkertons take a cruise on a river, they want it to be just a relaxing holiday. But of course, that is not so.

What if there wasn't a murder on the SS Hatshepsut and the detective society had a normal holiday with their friends.

As we all know, Hazel Wong has had a super huge crush on Alexander Acardy for a long time now. I mean, it's not hard to tell. Only problem: he's dating stupid Delacroix. Luckily Hazel has fabulous, amazing friends who help her get the long-armed-man of her dreams, and will stop at NOTHING to make them date. Oh and one more problem: Hazel doesnt know about her silly crush yet. It's alright though, for her simply spiffing friends including I, the Honourable Daisy Wells, will sort it out.

Hazel Wong and Daisy Wells would truly love a peaceful trip for once. Well, perhaps Hazel more than Daisy. But, let's be honest, when have Daisy and Hazel ever had a normal trip? This book is what could've happened if Death Sets Sail didn't happen. My first ever MMU fanfiction! Sorry if its bad :) Apologies for any grammar (or anything like that) mistakes, when I finish this book I will edit it to fix all of these! The detective society made a promise to each other when they left school, that in two years they would be in the corner cafe, in Cambridge, on Christmas eve. On Christmas eve, 1942, Hazel comes, as promised.

My personal opinion on ships/sexualities

When the MMU gang are in the wild West a deadly but funny hit on carry on cowboy with George and Alexander helping the sheriff hazel and beanie working at the Post office kitty working in the saloon and lavina and daisy well you know what that means

A bakery/uni/modern AU in which Hazel, Lavinia and Kitty work at a bakery whilst at university (Kitty only on Sundays as she says she is "too busy") and Hazel comes across a man who caught her attention who also happens to be George's friend.

The time is set after the last book in the series, Death Sets Sail, and Daisy and Hazel are working on their case from the government. On their way to Paris, with Alexander and George tagging along - in first class - when they go through a cloud. A scream. A yell. Panic. Who has died? Daisy and hazel can not reveal they are working for the government, else they will be the next victim. Can they work together to solve the crime before the plane lands in two days? Or will another person die...
