A week of living alone was peacefully melancholic for him. His weekly allowance was enough to feed him for years so the matter of money wasn't a problem. Companionship was though. After a week of living alone, of wishing for someone to accompany him in his huge mansion, he found a cat. Chaos ensues. He met people he could call his friends. He was finally happy. He found more cats. Then catastrophe struck.

Trying to make a proper Dustberry/Murderswap/Dustswap story now. Everyone deals with the madness of the multiverse in different ways. Some just avoid it or watch from a distance, like Outer or any bystanders of AUs that the trouble intrudes. Some cause trouble like Nightmare's gang and then there's those that try to prevent it like the Star Sanses...Well, that's how it SHOULD be. Many consider it simple like that where none of these three groups overlap. The two sides fight and the bystanders stay away. But...Swap consistently contradicts this system. He hangs out with "bystanders" in other AUs when outside of battle and if not for being part of the Star Sanses, would be a bystander. He befriends Error and Horror or the "enemies" and tries to keep Dream or Ink out of trouble. So when Swap goes missing, Error quickly jumps into action and gets the gang to help him. It lands Dust and Swap into a strange situation and is stuck together, forced to be on the same side. What would this alliance reveal to them when the divide is broken down between them? Read to find out.

the war between the groups representing good and evil had been going on for multiple centuries now. Not many things had changed in that future, no. Other than more wounds, sharpened weapons and... The Council makes a deal with the fabled God Dream for his assistance in defeating his tyrant God twin, Nightmare. However, Dream will not help them for free; he locks eyes with Cross, and decides he wants him in exchange for the war victory. It's an easy decision, is it not? There's just one problem with this arrangement: Cross is a spy, sent by Nightmare himself. And Nightmare is absolutely unforgiving of traitors. But he cannot offend Dream, for he too is an Immortal. (Cross forgets, however, that he himself is mortal.) [OR: A Empire/Kingdoms UTMV AU, where Cross is caught between the crossfire of Immortal/Gods! Dreamtale Twins. Who have also been influenced by God!Ink and God!Error; it's a cycle, really.]
