James Gillies is a student who works at Grace's Café. He is also very well aware of the fact that he is an attractive young man. However, he strongly dislikes being hit on during work at the café.

Julia meets William. The first of two stories about the beginning of the love affair, the second being Letting Go for Julia. This story became something completely different than originally intended. It was supposed to be later in the series but immediately led me to the very beginning.

A politician, a reporter and a coroner all walk into a bar and witness an awful death... In Roaring Twenties Toronto, prohibition is in full swing but someone has taken to poisoning bootleg booze. The new Mayor's friend is dead in a posh speakeasy and Detective William Murdoch, a war veteran and nearly broken man, is charged with solving the high-profile crimes without getting him or his boss fired in the process. To do that he has to work with the newly-minted City Coroner, Dr. Julia Ogden, who isn't sure she wants the job, but has her own ideas about conducting a proper police inquiry. Meanwhile, the bodies are piling up, and love, death, betrayal and secrets beleaguer William and Julia, as they navigate corruption, their working relationship, and a killing spree (or two.)

This is the story of William Murdoch and Julia Ogden from "Murdoch Mysteries".

This short story stems from the scene where W/J hide from the man that is following them. W/J seem to like somewhat risqué situations (TGM and TMI memory where both scenarios take place outside). This story plays on that premise and is my interpretation of what would have happened in any other show. Short but hopefully sweet!

Detective Watts is mentally fragile, that much has always been apparent. Especially to his colleagues at Station House Number 4. When he threatens to break completely, is Murdoch the only one who can save him from himself?

I love both shows so much so I decided to mesh them together anyway summary~ A strange body has been found in an alleyway, but Detective William Murdoch's investigation is interrupted by a group of strangers appearing from nowhere... and among those strangers is an old friend.

It was a week until Julia got married, will Murdoch pluck up the courage to ask the question or will he lose her forever?
