After a nasty argument between Murdoc, 2-D, and Russel, Noodle wakes up to find out the band has split up, leaving her and Murdoc to live together. They both don't know much about "families", or whatever their situation is, or themselves. Changes constantly pile on top of each other, and they ultimately land themselves in a new life together, one that is more peaceful, loving, and personal.

What worse way to start your life than the grubby streets of Stoke-On-Trent? Well, Verity knew no other, so this was how she'd live. This story is about a boy. A boy who got pushed away by his only friend, bullied and picked on by others. Stuart and Murdoc always stuck together as kids.
