HPHM's Murphy McNully takes a potential new Ravenclaw chaser under his wing. This is their story through the years. Eventually, there should be twenty short stories in chronological order as the characters grow together. Like the characters, the nature of their relationship will mature and gain complexity with time. I hope you enjoy the story of Murphy McNully and Katriona Cassiopeia. Though Katriona is a character of my own imagination, all Harry Potter characters, references, and locations belong to JKR. All Hogwarts Mystery characters are a product of Portkey Games.

Sarah Everest, a Pure-Blood Slytherin who is desperately trying to find her brother and unlock the mystery of the cursed vaults. They've been pretty close friends since their first year of Hogwarts. But their fourth year brings a lot of twists and turns. And now, it sounds like Sarah has a crush? On another guy? Can their friends Penny Haywood, Rowan Khanna, Tulip Karasu, and others save the two's friendship, and possibly bloom it into something else? 'Blimey, Murphy, it's so good to see you!' I blurted out and ran over to meet him. I couldn't help myself. I don't think I realized until that moment exactly how much I'd missed him. He opened his arms and caught me right as I launched myself into his chair with him. I held on to him tightly, inhaling his familiar smell like cinnamon and teakwood and feeling myself instantly relax. He wrapped his arms around me tightly and I felt him bury his face in my neck. 'Bloody hell, what have they done to you?' He exclaimed suddenly and I pulled back a bit to look him in the face. 'What?' I put a hand to my hair instinctively. 'Yeah, that's different,' he said. 'But look at all these muscles!' He pulled my damp jacket down my shoulders and felt my arms. 'It's like you're a real, professional Quidditch player!' He exclaimed looking back at my face. *** With her brother freed and her father found, Nora Knight isn't quite sure what to do with herself for her final two years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Curse-Breaking has been everything, and now she wants nothing to do with it. But who is she if she isn't sneaking around the castle and breaking every single rule trying to break into the Cursed Vaults? Her boyfriend Murphy McNully only has one more year left at Hogwarts and then she'll be on her own again. But fortunately, he knows exactly what she's good at and has a few ideas on what she can do to occupy her time. Hogwarts Mystery word, Year 6 to Beyond. AI generated cover, don't come for me!

'When I was a small child, people tried and failed to mend my legs, putting me through a lot of physical pain and causing my mother emotional anguish. I've long accepted that I'll never be able to use them and I'm alright with that. I don't know anything else. But if you think there's even the smallest chance I'll ever be able to walk, then we ought to end this now.' 'What? No!' I exclaimed. Then cleared my throat, realizing I'd sounded far too eager than I perhaps ought to. The corners of his mouth twitched up. 'I mean... it doesn't matter to me that you can't use your legs. That's just where my mind went, I didn't mean anything by it. Really, I won't bring it up again.' 'It's fine, Nora,' he assured me quickly. 'I just need you to know my position on it, I'm your boyfriend.' *** Nora Knight was so sure her purpose at Hogwarts was to finish what her brother, Jacob, started and break into all five Cursed Vaults. It's proven more trouble than she imagined, let alone danger. The last thing she expects is for a silly sport called Quidditch to be her release and getaway from the Vaults. Murphy McNully knows a promising Quidditch player when he sees one. It's no surprise to anyone that Nora, a troublemaking third-year, catches his eye while she soars through the pitch on her substandard broom with robes that don't quite fit right. Neither of them expect to become good friends. Call it Strategy Sessions or Chaser Training, they become nearly inseparable. Slowly, the Vaults become less and less important and Nora and McNully both learn more about who they are and how they can help each other. Story takes place from Year 3 to end of Year 5 in the Hogwarts Mystery world.
