A Treebros Oneshot based off my boredom in a chorus thing. It's set in middle school, and Connor and Zoe are twins because of my own struggle of being a twin (and have everyone think you're dating your twin...)

Two young boys, Evan Hansen and Connor Murphy. Never knew the other existed until their school lives-but even before then, they had already met once. Maybe Connor would vaguely remember that encounter, but Evan would have no recollection of it at all. So where did that inked "C O N N O R" on his cast come from? Zoe paused for a moment. He had hurt her so much. He was a monster, and now he was gone. She should be happy. But she wasn't. Why was it that she missed that monster? No, she didn't miss him, she missed the Connor she had known when they were little; the Connor who had been her best friend. Slowly, she nodded her head. "I will give you the chance to get your brother back, the brother you used to know. I only have one condition." "And what's that?" Zoe inquired, stiffening as she grew more suspicious. -- Or, Zoe gets a chance to start over.

Evan Hansen was born with a sixth sense that caused him to be able to feel anyone else's emotions. As he grew up, it was relevant and constantly used, considering he was unable to control it; though, when the sense became easier to control, he disregarded it, wanting to be as normal as possible. Nonetheless, that power brought him to saving a boy's life. One that he would soon desire to spend his life with.
