After spending months in solitary, Brooke is pardoned for her crimes and sent to the Earth with the 100, leaving the only person she cares about behind on the Ark. She is still angry, still consumed by the incident that led her here, and that anger draws her to someone. A smart, cocky, pain in the ass that she can't stand, but she can't stay away from. Murphy x OC. Slow burn.

What if they got it wrong? What if the earth wasn't pretty much totally unaltered after an apocalyptic war? What if instead, it was plunged into a nuclear winter? It's been 97 years and the Ark hasn't seen more than glimpses of the surface of the earth for years. The thick ash-clouds overlay the entire planet, blocking sunlight and warmth from reaching the surface of the earth. Nothing could survive down here, right? When sickness begins to spread, only the boy who'd suffered from the flu in the past can help. Clarke and Bellamy are forced to accept Murphy's help, but how long will this last? Will Murphy manage to keep the uneasy peace, or will it be shattered by murder? [This AU will NOT follow the main plot line, for obvious reasons. There will be some similar scenes, but mostly it will be totally new. That said, I WILL be taking liberties with designing new flora and fauna, and civilizations. They will for the most part, however, be parallels. Also, the story is technically Murphy-centric, with minor Murphy/OC angst, but will also follow Clarke and Bellamy. Character deaths will follow the same as the show, up to however far I've watched. After the encounter, the two became closer, until Murphy was arrested. Soon after, Lexi found out that one hundred prisoners were being sent to the ground. He though that he wasn't going to make it, but he was proved wrong. Lastly, woke up in a boat with strangers pointing guns at him and the other prisoner along with the man that had rescued them.
