Kyla Sanders loves the ocean. She would do anything to save it, but her family then has to move to Coney Island, New York. The ocean is a couple miles away from their new home, but Kyla doesn't care. She wants it back. Then Kyla meets a girl her age, Fiona Hasien, who can't do any of the things Kyla longs for-- she has muscle disease. Kyla is determined to help her new friend.
