I'm Yook Jaesung... Just switch the syllables of my name and it's Yook Sungjae... I'm his younger brother. We're three kids in the family, our eldest sister, SUngja and me... I'm closer with Sungjae. John didn't ask for this. He didn't sign up to be a hero, a savior, or whatever nonsense the universe seemed to have in mind. Time travel was complicated enough without stumbling across imprisoned magical deities. Yet, here he was-an unwilling do-gooder with a growing list of freed gods, spirits, and eldritch beings who now owed him favors. Not that John wanted their help. He just wanted a quiet life, free from divine drama and cosmic messes. But no, every time he turned around, there was another desperate deity locked up in some ancient relic or cursed dimension. He tried ignoring them. He really did. But then guilt-or perhaps sheer bad luck-always dragged him back. Now he's neck-deep in magical debts, interdimensional grudges, and a timeline so tangled it could strangle a lesser man. The gods might call him a savior, but John knows the truth: he's just tired. Tired of time travel. Tired of magic. And most of all, tired of being the universe's go-to handyman. Someone, please, save *him* this time. Before he snaps and uses all those favors to take a permanent vacation in a timeline where none of this exists. If such a place even exists anymore.

--My name is Anila. Up until a few days ago, I thought I was just like every other teenage girl. Seriously, life was awesome. I was popular, had great grades, and was on my way to getting a scholarship to one of the top universities in the state. Then my boyfriend decided to go crazy on me, and I end up in a car with some other guy who claims magic is real. Crazy, is what I say. Pretty sure he's out of his mind. I-- --Hold on a minute, Nila is not giving me a fair chance. The name is Bailey, and I'm not crazy. I'm a Muse. And so is she. That's why her boyfriend got uber possessive on her. Muses inspire the best in others, and without control over their magic, a Muse can be pretty addictive to hang around. Which is why I'm here, to teach Nila how to control that magic so she doesn't cause any more problems with the every day humans. See-- --I hate how he says every day humans like I'm not one of them. Oh, and get this, I apparently can't touch him, even just a tiny bit, because we might create magical sparks...or something?-- --Look at all the things she doesn't know about being a Muse. The sparks help us find our soul mate. Do I need to explain why I don't need her touching me right now? We just met. Besides, it's common courtesy. Keep your hands to yourself.

To be honest, I had only one story in mind: the first one named My Cheshire Cat, when I first typed in the title. The day I published it, I was reading an anthology of random stories selected by Ruskin Bond. That's where I got the idea of putting in more stories under the same Title. So, What A Lone Mind Sees is not a story. It is a collection of short stories/anecdotes. In accordance to that, I have tried to maintain a specific genre in all the stories but thoughts tend to get deviated. Do read all the stories. I would also welcome critiques on my writing, the story, the pattern, etc. So do send in a comment. Thank you.

This is one of my own stories, and has Greek mythology in it, so heroes, gods, goddesses, and creatures in Greek mythology will be in it, however, I am not saying it will be completely accurate. This is about a girl named Anthea and her adventures. Imagine the Greek gods as how they are in Disney's Hercules. The only thing that I don't own is Meg's backstory in Disney's Hercules, but it has a bit of a twist to it. I am not saying anything else because I'm afraid I will tell you the entire story right now. Hope you like it! :) ;)
