Along with hidden romances to go along with everything else, Ellie starts to question her view on her father, and her father's good friend, Mr. Joseph Pulitzer.

Alexis Kelly (yes I know that's how most if these stories are but stick with me) just wanted to be in charge. She's a badass, she's independent, she's a hell of a fighter, and she doesn't let people push her or her "family" around. She always looked up to her big brother jack even though she didn't always let him know that. Alexis goes by the name spade because she always wins in poker. All the Manhattan newsies know she's a girl but, no one else does. Yeah that's not gonna work well with this whole new strike thing. She wants to help as much as she can but jack keeps her back as much as possible. And yeah this whole king of Brooklyn let's just say he's about to be hit by the only person who won't take his shit. (Yes this is a spot colon story) The only character I own in this story is Alexis Kelly Warning: foul language is used a good amount, fighting both vocal and physical
