It's December 31, 1899. It's been an interesting year. What they didn't expect is that at midnight, they would be scattered across time. Some stayed in January 1, 1900, and will never see these people again. Boots and Crutchy end up in January 1, 2024. Will they be able to find their friends? caroline kelly, jack kelly's sister, meets spot conlon during the strike. will the two find each other falling for the other. after denton tells everyone he's leaving it doesn't only effect the newsies strike. it effects caroline's and spots relationship. caroline frequently leaves. she will just go to a random place and stay there for a week. denton leaving makes her leave too. will caroline and spot still be in love when she comes back? or will spot find another girl? read only you darling to find out.

Jaime Kelly, also known as "Books", is the leader of the Lower Manhattan Newsies. She loves her Newsies like they're her family. Every 8 Days she goes to see her best friend, Spot, the "King of Brooklyn". Everything seems to be going pretty normal until one day when she and her brother, Jack, start a strike against "The World". But what happens when memories of her past starts to resurface? That was her older brother Jacks choice, not hers. It seemed like he only lived to control his younger sisters life. He even took the credit for everything she did! With the strike impending Emerson finally sees a chance to step out of her brothers shadow with the help of a newcomer, David Jacobs

For they are the reincarnates of people who lived a hundred years ago, in 1899. They keep having weird feelings of déjà vu; déjà vu that's increasing. As they struggle to navigate their lives as high schoolers, they search to find out who they were in the past, and what all of these things mean when it comes to their identity and who they are. The Newsies gang holds a history longer than most of the other gangs in New York City. Jack Kelly is the fearless and current leader of a group of paper boys on wheels as well as the leader of the Newsies gang. The boys struggle with their dominant employer beginning to treat them poorly, mostly because it's well known that these boys are in a gang, through his refusal to pay them anymore than what they earn from the tips that they receive from the deliveries they make. While Jack and the rest of the gang struggle with that, there's a new rumble happening in the city. A new sock hop opens up with friendly intentions during opening hours that turn sinister behind the kitchen doors which could very well spell bad things for New York City. That leaves Jack and the boys with one task, to protect the people and the city they love. However, the more the boys visit the sock hop, the more emotional and personal the issues that arise seem to get. Will the boys be able to protect each other, the people and the city they love? Or, will they fall to the unkindness of a new gang and suffer? I own nothing except for my OCs(yes, there are going to be a decent amount of OCs. Some you might recognize from There's A Life That's Worth the Living). Disney owns Newsies, both the Broadway and the original movie from 1992. I also do not own the title. That is from Carrying the Banner during the nun part. One of the Newsies sings it.

This story brings the Mighty Ducks and splashes of Newsies (both owned by Disney) together. This story is set in New York and Minnesota respectfully following Anastasia through the ups and downs of her life as a teenager. As she moves away from her family in Manhattan she befriends an athletic group of individuals. But when she develops new feelings for the Cake Eater and the Enforcer her loyalty with the Newsies and Ducks is questioned. Will she ever be able to find her true self and happiness in Minnesota? Or will she be swallowed whole in a sea of new possibilities and heart break?. I do not own any of the pictures used or references.
