The characters from Hamilton have been reborn into the 21st century. Some of which, have been born as the opposite gender. For a history assignment, these 21st century high scholars are brought to see Hamilton at the Richard Rodgers Theater (lucky bitches) but something doesn't feel quite right. Reincarnation is a huge thing in their modern day world but could they be reincarnated themselves? ===== This is a rewrite of my discontinued story called The Opposite Rebirth. Ryan is the unhappy new kid at a new place in his last year of high school, so he's in a pretty sour mood when he starts his first day at Austin's finest high school. His annoyance quickly turns to confusion and mild fear, however, when the students begin bursting into song and perfect choreography at random moments, music to match them seemingly coming from no where. *Part two, the final part, coming soon!*

To be honest my school is doing west side story for the musical this year and all I could think was doing a fanfic and I thought of good ships it goes with so here we are now. I write a lot of lams but I love elams too and wanted to write something with it. ITS A RELATIONSHIP WITH MY CINNAMON ROLLS OKAY I NEED IT!! Anyway, I have never seen a soulmate AU for elams. I've seen it for jamilams but all the elams stories I find are just normal high school or college or AUS. Not saying they don't exist just saying I've never seen one. The Juneau Alaska Science Club wasn't very lucky. They got second place against themselves and fought like nobodies business. They only had six members, because no one ever wanted to join. Penn Solstice, he was only there because he was lonely. Addy Williams, she just liked being around other people. Cyrus Anders, he was the smart one. Casey Dupree, she was too busy texting her girlfriend to even pay attention to anything. Brynleigh Pasternack, she was only there because she like winning the competitions. Then there was some other girl, but she probably didn't matter...probably. Just like how getting on a rickety old roller coaster probably wouldn't matter...probably.

He runs into Craig Tucker at school, who he hadn't spoken to since 4th grade and shit happens. A week after the Tucker boy cancelled himself, he wakes up back on the first day of the school year. Now he's trying to get Craig to realize something he doesn't even believe himself.....

ANGST WARNING BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I'M BEST AT! The Hamilton characters but they have switched genders. They are all classic teenagers in high school and live pretty Average lives. Alexis is also a huge theater nerd and fangirl with health problems so when she hears that theres a feild trip in a month to go see Hamilton she gets super excited. Once they go to see the play however their world changes. Is it for better or worse? Or thats what the story was supposed to be.
