He's always liked to be in the spotlight, but he's never been one for being the main character, unlike his rival Scar. Scar is the picture perfect replication of the Evil Tenor: always gets the main spot, always gets the most show time, and always hits his notes right. If anything, he riffs too much, and it makes Grian cringe. They hate each other, but Grian puts up with him, knowing an altercation could get them both kicked out of the program. Scar, however, doesn't care about the effects of his actions on others. He's too self-absorbed and certain in his acting skills to be afraid of getting kicked out. Not to mention, for someone in the queer community, he couldn't be less supportive. Straight and homophobic, he makes fun of all the other kids in the program. But what happens when Grian decides to take a new turn and be a tech hand for next year's musical, and he and Scar are forced to spend every day together at practice after school?
