The day I met her, the ocean bore witness.
I had taken the whole week off from work, unaware that fate had quietly arranged an encounter I never asked for-but would never forget. I didn't know then that destiny would lead me to her.
Her hair was brown, the kind of brown that moved like ocean waves when the wind passed through it-earth meeting sea. Brown and blue, intertwined. I remember wishing I had brought my paints with me, wishing I could capture her the way the horizon captures the sky.
But perhaps it was never meant to be painted.
Some moments are not meant to be kept-only seen, only felt. This one lives solely in my eyes, suspended in time, because deep down, I knew we would probably never meet again.
